All affiliate partnerships, official business activities, and payment servicing are operated by Smarter You Media, LLC. The terms “We”, “I”, “Us”, “SYS”, “Smarter You”, “Smarter You Media”, “Smarter You Media, LLC”, and “Smarter You Services” are all referring to the same business entity and structure.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the Smarter You Services website I collect the data shown in the comments form, the visitor’s IP address, and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the Smarter You Services website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the Smarter You Services website can download and extract any location data from images on the site.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on the Smarter You Services website, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Who I share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. I will never sell your data to any third party. Guaranteed.
How long I retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so I can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on the Smarter You Services website (blog or purchase registration), I also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Smarter You Services website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on the Smarter You Services website, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data I hold about you, including any data you have provided to me. You can also request that I erase any personal data I hold about you. This does not include any data I am obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

I include a page on the Smarter You Services website for case studies and testimonials from clients. To build and maintain trust, I do not publish any client’s identifying information without prior approval. Client data may be used in case studies, but I will always ensure that data or associated information is sanitized.

I run an ethical business and follow rules, regulations, and best practices relating to GDPR, DCA, and affiliate marketing. I have a duty to inform you that you will encounter product descriptions and links throughout this website.
